ROAD MAP FOR 2013-14……

1. In Robotics Club a basic Workshop for enrolled students will be conducted from August’s  first week. Workshop will be on Saturday & Sunday, twice a week for 10 weeks.

2. Those students who has already given money for Robosapian’s  workshop can freely attend the basic workshop and other students will be charged 450 for the Robotics  kit.

3. As per the performance in basic workshop 10 teams(5 from VIT and 5  from VIT-EAST) will be finalized for advanced robotics workshop & competitions.

4.  Each team will be heterogeneous means team members will be from 2^nd year and 3^rd year as well as from different stream eg EC,MECH ,EE.

5. These teams will be prepared for various on campus as well as off campus competitions. Project expenditure’s 75% will be financed by the club and rest by the team. Finance details & enrolled students  are summarized below…

-About  the  VIT "Robotics Club"-   

In VIT robotics club  as per it's vision the students are  being  guided and enabled to explore their minds in every possible dimension to  think and design the Robots. The VITans define  the Robotics world of the VIT as their  Robots which will serve in various fields like medical, space, laboratories, disasters, mining, games, wireless applications, automobiles, automation etc.

The VIT  Robotics Club  promotes the experimentation with electronics& mechanical provides a forum for discussion and sharing information, and gives its members a community to participate in and learn about the field of robotics and machine technology. Our group is about freedom of creative expression through technology.

In Robotics Club each member of this family is provided insight into mechanical, basic electronic, monetary and informatory aid besides the indispensable guidance of experienced members. Club will support and foster interest in various aspects related to robotics in particular, mechanical design through workshops and seminars.

Well defined goals, Organized Work Structure, Highly Motivated Members and the ability to shrewdly harness the skill and creativity of the work force are the key of fulfillment of purpose and vision.

The VIT Robotics club students also has marked their presence and triumphs with exorbitant response prize winning achievements in off-campus Technical fests like ZINE(MNIT), Pravah(SKIT), Plinth (LMNIT),Jigyasa(GIT),Aayam(Gyan Vihar),IIT-Robofeast.

The VIT Robotics club celebrates it's annual day “VishavKarma Jaiyanti”.

Vision :

"Here Life is fantastic in Robotics world", where we design  the machines called ROBOTs". which make human life better. Robots serve  humanity in various fields like medical, space, laboratories, disasters, mining, games, etc. "Robot" has a brain like us called processor. This processor is the creativity of mother nature's best processor (Human-Brain).The era has begin where Robots will have emotions like it's creator and eventually this beautiful mother nature will make them fall in love like "Wall-E and Eve”. They will take care of this mother nature and will serve it in every aspect.

       We "The VITans" have a dream to realize it at the ground of reality as Sir Albert Einstein said, “If you can imagine, you can make it to realize at the ground of reality with dedication & devotion."
